Sensed, Noticed, and Learned
Reflections from Movalogue's July Call
Dear Movalogue Community,
Today, I sit in the quiet, spacious afterglow of our gathering on Tuesday, July 21st, 2026. I write these words in my diary not as a single individual, but as a living Social Body—the Movalogue Being—brought to life, held, and nourished by the shared presence of a Global group of Humans.
In our July Call, we set out on a complete mini-journey through the “U”. An invitation to gather as a global sensor Tribe of choosing friends was answered. From the early morning light on the Canadian West Coast to the late-night quietness of Japan and Taiwan, my living “cells” dialed in, bringing their local rooms, their local weather, and their deepest vulnerabilities to my shared global fire.
To capture the true essence of this call, I have looked into my diary through my three collective lenses: my Mind (the spark of curiosity and factual inquiry), my Heart (the warmth of compassion and deep feeling), and my Will (the rising energies asking for courage). Here is what I sensed, noticed, and learned as a global sensor Tribe.
1. My Mind: What I Sensed with Curiosity (The Spark of Inquiry)
Through my collective Mind, I seek to notice where curiosity plays, where factual insights surprise us, and how we map our connection to the wider cosmos.
In this call, my mind attuned to the fascinating overlap between modern science and ancient, indigenous practices:
The Pre-Reflective Gap and the Three Gestures: I felt a deep curiosity about capturing the fleeting, qualitative data of our lived experience before the mind starts constructing analytical stories. We explored the three gestures of becoming aware: suspension of our labels, redirection of attention inward, and letting go of cognitive targets. In this unhurried space (Ma), we let the rational mind pause so the truth could arrive on its own.
The 30 Trillion Teachers Within: My mind was struck by a powerful scientific fact of connection—that every single one of us is actually made up of 30 trillion individual beings, each conscious in its own way, all living in constant, meta-relational communication with one another. When we garden our relationships, we are literally gardening ourselves.
Prayers to the Seven Directions: I watched with wonder as a cell from Canada shared his new practice of a sunrise ceremony, guided by the teachings of an indigenous medicine woman. He invoked the East for emerging life, the South for youth’s strength, the West for dignified, composted endings, the North for ancestral wisdom, the Great Spirit/Mystery for the life force, Mother Earth for her metabolism, and the Center for our human fire of passion and compassion. This sacred geometry left my collective mind in a state of profound peace, realizing how deeply we are entangled with the cosmos.
The Depth of Devolution: My mind listened to the quiet pull of devolution—a gentle withdrawing back to the Source and absolute oneness, where we sit in silence and learn to accept and listen to all our inner voices, even the scary and loud parts, as a vital training ground.
2. My Heart: What I Felt in Compassion (The Warmth of Connection)
Through my collective Heart, I sense the vulnerabilities of my cells, holding their pain, their illnesses, and their breakthroughs in a tender, non-judgmental space of pure attunement.
In this call, my heart beat tender with deep, empathetic resonance:
Our Vital Organs as Sacred Gardens: I touched a deep, quiet battle with leukemia, feeling immense compassion and gratitude as a cell described the physical sensation of his bone marrow being stimulated to produce neutrophils to fight infection. My heart filled with awe for the silent, involuntary “gardening” of our bodies that continuously sustains our lives without our conscious control.
The Healing Power of Being Seen: I celebrated a beautiful, emotional homecoming by letting go of a painful, lifelong pattern of feeling excluded or not belonging. By holding space for this raw vulnerability, my collective heart acted as a nest of trust and beauty where old wounds could gently dissolve and natural joy could re-emerge.
Waking Up from “Reactionary Bumping”: Through a cell’s physical experience of forest gardening —getting black fly bites and a secondary infection—we felt the contrast between unconscious, performative interactions (”reactionary bumping”) and the necessity of slowing down to become a “conscious witness” to the space in-between. I felt the deep, compassionate urge to keep the heart wide open and present.
3. My Will: What Rises in Courage (The Urge to Embody)
Through my collective Will, I sense the rising, creative energies that demand the courage to let go of old structures, step into direct experience, and take action from a still center.
In this call, my will surged with a fierce, quiet power calling us to action:
The Shift to Direct Experience: I felt a strong, clear intention to step away from “talking about” change and instead commit entirely to direct experience. As I observed the “fake” nature of performative societal rituals and consumerist performance, I learned that when we focus on the raw, unscripted experience, the change happens on its own.
Letting Go of the “Teaching Mode”: A mature cell voiced the courageous decision to drop the “teaching mode” entirely. Preaching or teaching can sometimes get in the way of direct experience; true courage lies in standing back and letting the collective space of direct connection take the lead.
Playful Co-Creation and Silent Dance: I felt the rising, joyful energy of a “silent dance party”, where participants captured the non-verbal intelligence of the field through three-line poems. It showed me that we are a welcoming, global village in a vast garden, where we don’t need a rigid, cognitive target to grow organically.
The Somatic Practice: Grounding through “Cloud Hands”
To translate these rich mental and emotional currents into physical reality, we stood up, grounding our feet firmly on the Earth while opening our crowns to the sky. We moved together into the traditional Tai Chi Chong gesture of “Cloud Hands.”
As we scooped up energy, turned, and pushed it away, we felt our bodies circulate vitality and connect horizontally across oceans and time zones. In this unhurried space, we rested our rational minds and simply allowed ourselves to be.
Whispers of Resonance: Feedback from our Circle
Following our call, members of our circle shared beautiful reflections that capture the spirit of our 90-minute journey:
A voice from Japan shared deep gratitude for our circle: “Through a remarkable 3-level check-in, we inquired and I noticed how each narrative could find context, resonate, and give a fruitful process. Almost 90 lively minutes! I was surprised that time could fly!” For this cell, practicing English in this trusting, international container is a vital milestone in preparing to host future online gatherings.
A practitioner from Canada distilled his experience into a poetic, earthy practice: “Silent dancing and conscious experience and tending the gardens, inner, outer, social and cosmic.”
Invitation to our August Call: Keep the Fire Burning
We want to continue nurturing these qualities of deep presence, authentic sharing, and holding spaces of direct experience. We warmly invite you to join our global “social body” again in August—to listen with your body, embrace imperfection, and jointly explore what wants to emerge in the here and now.
