RITA VENTURINI
Portugal
Shepherd at Quinta Ten Chi
I am not much of anything. I am the moment that ends, the one that is already started and the one that maybe should have not been there at all. At times I
notice being the moment of sorrow. Other times I am the sensation in the front of the belly, and again the laughter on the face of the grandmother. I remember being the power of the ocean wave crashing against a rock. Witnessing all of these moments I have been getting closer to being nothing, and all. That started in Italy many years ago and has been continuing around
the world, from California to Portugal following the routes of the old discoverers, just all backward.

I trained as a scientist and as a mover/improviser, and am now shepherding the emergence of a center for Embodied Wisdom at Quinta Ten Chi in Sintra, as well as being a facilitator of embodied experiences in Lisbon.

PETER HOFMANN
Austria
Passion for the in-between
With his expertise on designing and facilitating learning spaces for small groups (teams) up to big groups (conferences) Peter has worked over the last 15 years for governmental institutions as the European Commission, Council of Europe, UN and national ministries as well as for large non-governmental associations such as WWF, Greenpeace and others.
With his company “LIMINA- Learning in Transition” Peter is focusing on change and transition processes. Inspired by the Theory U he has started several years ago to engage in and with mindfulness. After some courses in this area he has found the world of education as the main application field for his work with mindfulness – targeting teachers but also parents. Since 2016 Peter is engaging also in Social Presencing Theatre. In March 2019 he has finished the one year training for facilitators on SPT by the Presencing Institute in Berlin.
Peter lives with his family in Vienna.
The idea to create a gathering for SPT practitioners was born in August 2017. From the first thought and impulse it took just a few days to form a curious, dedicated and courageous team full of love about Social Presencing Theater.

My jaw dropped when someone, years ago, pointed out to me that when we designate the self — I mean when we say me or I — we do not touch our head but the center of our chest, the riverbed of our feelings, senses and pulses.
Our ability to sense is what bridges our abilities to think and do. Sensing opens the way to sense-making (makes sense, doesn’t it?).
So, how would the world be affected if we changed the order of learning ? What if we decided to spend time sensing things, beings, situations, phenomena, before we name and analyse them? And from these felt experiences what if we created a shared and caring language ?
One of the best answers I received to these questions is SPT.
After 10 years of experience in the field of international development, Sebastian is working as a
consultant in the field of organizational development all over the world. In his work he is passionate
about a facilitation that attends from the not-knowing, holding the space for what wants to emerge.
Deeply rooted in awareness practices, Sebastian combines systemic constellations and Social
Presencing Theater with organizational development in his work.
